When will KPJ be Relisted on Bursa?

Written by Leremy

That is the question of all KPJ's share holders right now. I have been asking all the people around me and nobody seems to know. Thus, I called up to KPJ and asked them about it myself. It took over 5-6 different people over the phone before it reached to a woman that is finally able to answer my question.

Leremy: Hello, KPJ has been suspended since the 4th of January for the share splits, bonus issues, and free warrant operations. I wanted to ask you when will KPJ be listed on bursa for trading again?

Woman: KPJ will be listed on the 18th or 19th of January again after all this operations is finished.

Leremy: Wow, that is a long time. So when it is relisted, how much will KPJ market share value be? And will KPJ Warrant a cum or ex?

Woman: KPJ will be valued at RM2.60 by the time it is listed, but we hope it could be more. The free warrant will be EX and not cum.

Leremy: So, does this means the free warrant will not dilute the mother share price?

Woman: Yes, it will not.

Leremy: Now, that's a great news. So how much will the warrant worth?

Woman: If you calculate it, it will worth 90cent, since the exercise price is RM1.70. But with a premium, it should worth more than that.

Leremy: Thank you for all the information, good bye :P

Now, that is one great news for all KPJ share holders. If you got 8000 shares of KPJ before the 4th January 2009, you will get at least RM5000 for free, given that the warrant will worth RM1.00. How to calculate this? Ok, here goes.

1. 8000 shares will become 16000 shares (after split)
2. 16000 shares will become 20000 shares (after 4 for 1 bonus issue)
3. 20000 shares will give you 5000 shares of warrant (after 4 for 1 free warrant)
4. 1000 shares of warrant worth RM1k.
5. 5000 shares of warrant worth RM5k.

Good stuff, yeah? Continue to buy and keep KPJ for the next 2 years, it might probably bring you the biggest fortune and this is for real investor only.

Came across your blog only yesterday and find your postings rather nifty and informative. I share your bullish view on KPJ. The counter only came under my radar for further analysis when they announced the split/bonus/warrants.Its a real gem and the company has been pretty savvy in managing the news flow.
