Hello all,

I'm ijan. a newbie.
My experience is just a year in stock investing. So, my knowledge is still shallow.
Nevertheless, i plan to become full time trader that will travel from one market to the other, i.e now malaysia, next south korea, india, mid-east etc.
Pretty big ambition eh!

Anyway, nice to find a forum which discusses stocks.

Happy Investing.

Welcome.

Actually you do not need to physically travel to trade in the market u desire. These days the technology is marvelous.

You could trade many markets from home. I trade the ES - S&P500 Futures from home.

And nope, its not big ambition to trade the world markets. Though I am not too sure why do you want to trade South Korea then India, then Mid east etc. It almost sounds like you re thinking of world domination. Haha.

Anyway, my opinion is that perhaps best to start with Stocks then move on to Futures then Commodities

Max,

Did you say 'world domination'?
it is indeed a world domination.

But, as you know, not every market HOT at the same time. Malaysia was hot from June 2006 up to Feb 07. Now it is like whether to go ahead or to pull back. market PE is still favourable. China market is already Bubble. Hong kong bubble is now blowing by mainland China traders/investors.

Try to look at South Korea market PE, India market PE, and Mid-east PE. You'll find something that will be polish later, like within 5 years.

So, i'm planning to hop in a boat which is speeding fast. i might fall into the sea if everything is not well plan, well time..

Dont you think?

Hot bloods... hahaha

Ijan, seriously - its better to learn abt futures than to go straight into another foreign market.

On another note - if you want hot market - the answer is not in PE. If you want FA related method - then you should look at the hot emerging economy - like 2005 - Vietnam.

Easier and more reliable method, in my opinion, is TA.

That said, I seriously do not see the point of venturing into a foreign market where its language is something you do not understand when there are monies to be made when one knows futures and commodities.

max,

well you make a point there. i have not venture to learn futures as yet.
maybe because you've made some $$$ in futures, you can see it already.
well, my experience in stock also still young, 1 year. (i was from engineering background)
i'll try to learn futures.
Do you have any recommendations?
Do you mind to share it?

Thanks.
