Just read this new about DRB-Hicom and Pos Tie Up at TheStar newspaper today.
It seems that Syed Mokhtar, the richest malay man will be the frontrunner in the 32% stake sale, with the deal costing some RM700mil.
The deal, valued at RM700mil, works out to be RM4.05 per share, representing a 21% premium over its current share price of RM3.35 but lower than OSK's target of RM4.33.
We see this as a lucrative deal for Syed Mokhtar, given the upside potential once the Postal Land Act is revised, it adds.
OSK said that its valuation of Pos Malaysia did not include the revaluation of land bank should there be a relaxation in the use of these parcels under the proposed amendments of the Act, which is to be tabled in parliament this month.
If the revision is favourable in terms of land bank usage, OSK said Pos Malaysia could be valued as much as RM4.98 per share at three times book value of the land bank.

Pos Malaysia plans to unlock its land value. It now has 600 outlets in Malaysia and all of these properties have only been allow to do pos related stuff. Now government want to transform this so that these properties can do other thing. Imagine if they can now become like 7 Eleven. How much value is that? Think deeply for yourself.
Currently, Pos is traded at about RM3.10. OSK maintains its buy-call and mentioned that the target price would be RM4.33

Sleeping beauty is a very beautiful girl. But, she is unnoticed because she has no movement. She is sleeping, she doesn't response, and she is boring. The energetic poor lads will not waste their time on a girl that has no response because they wanted to have a quick date, intriguing situation, and hot sex. The inexperience lads will grab any girl that response to him and give him what he needs... in the short run. And at most of the time, the lads will be disappointed that she is not perfect and they may soon have to breakup. He wasted his time, and gain little from this relationship... and although yes, he got to hold the girl hand, kiss her, and perhaps... some sex... but most of the time, he may ended up heartbroken by gaining nothing at all. If the lad could perhaps... waited for the sleeping beauty (the girl of his dream) to wake up, they would have a perfect ending. He would have gained the most from this relationship, but he cannot wait because he needs fast and furious actions.
A rich man is different from this poor lad. He has the money. He can afford to keep 10 sleeping beauties at one time and waited for every one of them to wake up... one by one. His life is not boring and he gain the most wonderful experience; the chances of one of his sleeping beauties to wake up is higher and the time he have to wait is shorter.
Buy and hold strategy can be applied to a rich man, while a poor lad may not have the resources to buy and hold. Some sleeping beauties that has woke up recently include Plenitude and Fimacorp.
The one that I believe that has yet to wake up are Epic and Paramount. Can you wait?

You sell your shares when you love them the most. That is the time where you gain the most, and probably will not gain more than that... at least in the near future.
A share like KPJ has been giving us good return as each months pass. Should we continue to keep this golden goose? Or shall we kill it and lock the profit? Is a big question that no one knows the answer. How far can KPJ go? Should I sell it already?
I am still holding a lot of KPJ here. It is hard to resist the gain it gives. I don't want to sell. But we must know, whatever goes up, must come down. But when?
Answer: Hold KPJ for as long as you can. Sell it on the day when the volume goes up exceptionally high. That will be the day you love it the most.
