Hmmm.... wow, wat a drop on Monday.... wat a start for the week.... :P
anyway, i think a correction is due on Tuesday... which is later... hehe... will post the details later la.... need to sleep for a while.... hehe.... :)

Now, why do i say there might be a correction? why would i think there will be one in the first place...
well, on Friday, actually on my side, i think our CI is moving on a healthy ­style­... so am really expecting a good day, at least at the early session on Monday.... but.... walau eh... on the friday night itself, the DJI made almost a 400 point drop.... this itself is severe enough to make any healing wound to burst.... so i personally think Monday's drop is not due to our intrinsic factor.... it is more of a intermarket effect... so this made me to believe tat a correction should have happened on tuesday... unfortunately, the whole regional market decides to bleed some more.... when i look at our intraday CI movement, and compared it with our neighbours, i notice tat we are actually performing quite well. which leads me to believe that recovery is indeed in place, only might be stalled or masked.... so i am actually putting quite high expectations on wednesday... :) and i do hope tat it will not let me down...

but let me emphasis again, i am not saying that there will be a major change in the trend, when i say recovery, it just means tat there should be an upmove or an up swing.... wether or not it is enough to make a trend change, will still depends....

Hi RL, just wanna ask you. the correction that u referring to izzit technical rebound?

hi... normally, after a drop, it would be followed by either a ­base­ or a rebound. most of the time, we make a guess by looking at the velocity of the drop. something like physics...

such a rebound is expected because for some investors, a drop of price to a certain level will make them to believe tat it is a bargain price, so they will buy in.... for those using risk reward ratios, they may believe that there is limited downside... and particularly for technical users, particularly those using overbought n oversold indicators, they will buy in when prices are in the oversold area.. this is a technical method, so the rebound is called technical rebound...

however, if the rebound has follow through, this will go into recovery phase (this part is my own opinion)...

so for some people, they would not bother much wether the rebound is technical or recovery, because time will tell the nature anyway. but for me, i will be a bit more careful during the technical rebound phase because if it is just technical, things may go bad again if the technical reason or indicator is not supporting anymore... so normally, i will do some minor modifications to my trading method at such times until a confirmation is in...

RL, what? you label negative feedback as attacking? Now the teapot boy is really really cute (and that's attacking). let's see what you wrote last week held any ground...nil. Last week CI opened 1226.57, closed 1229.35, barely moved up 3 points. whole week was rather flat. How do you explain that with you pseudoscience???
